Been trying to perfect my raw food bars, and maybe I have! Huge chunks of vegan organic chocolate chips are the only non raw item, but SOOOO good! Other then that yum ingredient there are dates, sunflowers seeds, almonds, cranberries, chia seeds, oats, raisins, almond butter, spirulina, agave, cinnamon, and a very worn down food processor. Start with the dates (pitted) , mash up a bit in the processor, then add the other ingredients slowly. Just blend enough to form a ball. Then press between two pieces of wax paper and roll out with a rolling pin. Peel back paper and cut to size. I like to store mine in the frig long term for quick meals, and I wrap them individually in wax paper for carrying out with you  easy in the pocket. :)

MMM….getting ready for that raw food again, after a day of WAY too many french fries. LOL! A cleansing raw smoothie of kiwi, apple, avocado, banana, lime, cashews, spirulina, DE, and water. Thick, smooth, and healing. xoxox

A friend of mine just got me into Chic pea salad. I cannot get enough. I researched a wonderful vegan “tuna” chic pea salad and modified it a bit to create the most delicious fake tuna salad. You wouldn’t believe how good it is and easy to make. Even my 10 year old cannot get enough. Serve on toast with melted “cheese” or in romaine leaves for lower carbs. MmmmmMMMMmmmmmMMMMmm…….

Beautiful blue potato salad! A friend of mine brought over a bunch of the most yummy baby blue potatoes and I have been loving them soooo much! I precook them and store in the frig for a day or two just to have the freedom to create some lovely meals spontaneously. Friends are amazing. Consumables are the best gifts!

Fun winter thawing morning project. One large cabbage, caraway seeds, rainbow carrots and 2 vintage jars. All that turns into super healthy raw fermented spring kraut. Takes about 1 month to make but SOOOO worth it. xxoxoxo

The first homemade coconut orange soap of the year! Made with organic coconut oil and orange/lemon peel from my sister’s home out west. Smells lovely and it yielded 22 large bars! A month or two to cure and can’t wait! Loving the natural wold in the New Year.
